Curriculum Development

  • ‘Buddy schemes’, where fresh undergraduates are helped to integrate by another more experienced person have been successful on both the AIB and BMS-run  courses. Taking this a step further, BSA is now looking to introduced a PAL (peer-assisted learning) scheme to help students on all courses get to grips with any problems they may experience in their particular curriculum.
  • In pursuit of developing ‘commercial’ skills for graduates, we plan a stimulating symposium this summer, when noted exponents from the business side of the film industry will be here on location to pass on their experience and expertise. While for next academic year, we are finalising the Practioner-in-Residence programme.
