London Film School Job vacancies

The London Film School is currently recruiting for three key positions (details below).

The London Film School is an international graduate school offering MA programmes in Filmmaking and Screenwriting, extension courses in Cinematography, Editing, Production Design and Sound and a range of specialist workshops.  Based in a vibrant warehouse building in Covent Garden, it is one of only seven UK institutions recognised as Skillset Screen Academies. An independent non-profit body run by passionate and experienced filmmakers, LFS is a working studio producing around 160 films each year on film and digital formats. This year -- the school’s 50th -- LFS films have played at over 100 festivals and won 20 major prizes including a BAFTA nomination.  The school is seeking three key individuals to contribute to its current programme of development.

First Year Tutor/Production Lecturer

A tutor is required to oversee the work of students on the second and third term of the 2-year MA Filmmaking programme. S/he will have a broad knowledge of production, development and direction, with some experience of both fiction and documentary.

Fundraising Manager

LFS requires an enterprising individual to develop and deliver all aspects of the school fundraising strategy, including a major capital fundraising project. The postholder will identify and research potential opportunities, including trusts, foundations, sponsorship, corporate and individual donors and work closely with the governing body to maximise the generation of funds.

Co-ordinator, LFS Workshops

LFS is looking for a highly-motivated person to build up and deliver a range of professional level workshops and evening programmes, liaising with external lecturers and industry organisations.

Deadline for all posts 10th November.
